  • Hydrangea ‘Snow Queen’

    Snow Queen Hydrangea is very similar to the straight species Oakleaf Hydrangea but with showier flowers. The leaves have an oak leaf-like appearance with deep, pointed lobes. In early summer, white panicle flowers appear. In the fall the leaves turn shades of orange, red and purple.

    Native. Flowers on the male plant are larger than those on the female plant. Flowers are very small and yellow, blooming in the early spring. Red fruit is covered by foliage until the leaves turn yellow in the fall and fall off. Leaves are fragrant when crushed.

    Staghorn sumac is a native deciduous shrub, native to North America. It is a very open, tropical looking shrub. The flowers are green spikes that turn into bright orange-red fruit that attracts wildlife. Fall color is a bright orange-red.
